Change in the management of Cablex

With Roger Keller, cablex has a new CEO and a new face on the management board. Roger Keller has many years of experience in sales and in the management of business units. Most recently, he was head of business for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at Swisscom Business Customers, where he and his team developed and successfully implemented the growth strategy for the information and communication technologies market.

Roger Keller has diversified management experience in various technology industries, including at Technicolor and Reichle & De-Massari. He is familiar with the project, service and distribution business with national and international customers and has many years of experience in managing business areas in the systems, software and services sectors, both in the SME and key account business. Originally from Aargau, Roger lived abroad for several years and now lives with his family in the Zurich region. He is an electrical engineer with a degree from ETH and an Executive MBA HSG and speaks fluent English and French.

Michael Treunter will succeed Roger Keller as Head of SME ad interim as of October 1, 2024. The current CEO ad interim, Francesco Castelletti, will support Roger Keller during a transition phase and will then be available in an advisory capacity until the end of 2024 before retiring. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Stefan Nünlist, thanked Francesco Castelletti for his outstanding work during his more than 40 years with the Swisscom Group.

In addition, Ulrich Schädler will join cablex as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ulrich Schädler brings many years of experience from the ranks of Swisscom and will take over the finance department of cablex from January 1, 2025.

Furthermore, Thomas von Arx, who has been managing the Field Services organizational unit at cablex on an interim basis, will take over this unit permanently from 1 October 2024 and thus become a member of the Executive Board.

With these changes, cablex is ready to successfully implement the company's strategy and continue to hold the leading position in Switzerland for network infrastructure, services, smart energy and wireless networking.

The Board of Directors would like to thank Francesco Castelletti and Urs Ringgenberg for their outstanding work and wishes Roger Keller, Ulrich Schädler and Thomas von Arx every success in their new roles.
