Exemplary and consistent in vocational training: Vorarlberg roofing entrepreneur Urs Peter from Götzis and Geberit CEO Christian Buhl from Eastern Switzerland have been nominated for the Hans Huber Foundation's recognition award. The prize money amounts to a total of 40,000 Swiss francs.

Geberit CEO Christian Buhl is giving visuality to vocational training within the company and in external communication and is setting the right priorities, says Christian Fiechter, President of the Hans Huber Foundation. He explains Buhl's nomination for the Hans Huber Foundation's recognition award: "He has recognized the signs of the times and knows that the company's success depends to a large extent on its own successful vocational training."

According to Fiechter, this also applies to the co-owner and managing director of Peter Dach in Götzis: "With Urs Peter, you can feel the sincerity, perseverance, foresight and professionalism in apprentice training like hardly anyone else." The training goes far beyond the usual, as the apprentices can also complete assignments in their own profession at partner companies in Salzburg, Tyrol and Germany. "That broadens your horizons," says Fiechter. And it immediately manifests itself in a broader wealth of experience, which benefits customers.
