Bank CIC: Mirko Angelini becomes new CFO

Mirko Angelini will become Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Board of Bank CIC (Switzerland) Ltd. as of October 1, 2023. This appointment has been approved by FINMA. In this role, he will be responsible in particular for Finance, Controlling, Markets, Bank Relations, Lending and Tax Services.

Mirko Angelini, a certified public accountant, has an impressive expertise of over 20 years in corporate governance, risk management, accounting, finance, internal control, compliance and internal audit, both on a national and international level. Prior to taking up his position at Bank CIC (Switzerland) Ltd, he held similar positions in a Swiss private bank. Earlier in his career, he worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) in Switzerland and in England in the finance area.

Mirko Angelini is an active member of EXPERTsuisse, the Institute of Internal Auditors Switzerland (IIA Switzerland) and the Swiss Risk Association (SRA). He also holds the Risk Management Certification CRMA, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to excellence in professional expertise. The appointment of Mirko Angelini follows the appointment of Yves Aeschlimann as Chief Risk Officer and member of the Executive Board as of August 1, 2023.

The appointments have completed the Executive Board of Bank CIC (Switzerland) Ltd. The Executive Board now consists of five members (Livia Moretti CEO, David Fusi responsible for the front office, Matthias Kälin COO, Yves Aeschlimann CRO, Mirko Angelini CFO), all of whom have the necessary expertise for both the Swiss and international markets. This ensures a responsible and stable management as well as the continuous development of Bank CIC (Switzerland) Ltd.
